Detailed Job Description & Responsibilities
As an AI Delivery Intern, you will be directly involved in building, testing, and deploying real voicebots and chatbots for enterprise clients. Instead of working purely on theoretical models, your day-to-day focus will be turning client requirements into actual, working conversational agents that handle thousands of client interactions live in production.
Here is a detailed look at what your practical workload will include:
- Prompt Design & Optimization: Crafting, testing, and refining prompts for LLM-powered bots. You will design multi-turn conversation logic, setup tool-calling rules, and implement guardrails so bots do not hallucinate or give wrong answers.
- Voice AI Pipeline Tuning: Configuring and fine-tuning the full speech pipeline, which spans Speech-to-Text (STT / ASR), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Text-to-Speech (TTS). You will evaluate latencies, accuracy, and voice naturalness to ensure real-time human-like voice conversations.
- Debugging & Root Cause Analysis: Analyzing raw conversation logs to figure out why a bot misbehaved, failed to capture intent, or got stuck in a loop. You will track root causes and fix prompt or flow issues directly.
- QA Framework Building: Running quality assurance and evaluation benchmarks to track accuracy and performance improvements over time.
- Client Launch Support: Preparing scenario test cases, validating conversation paths before go-live, and resolving bugs right around launch deadlines.
- Documentation: Writing clear process notes, bot setup steps, and best practices to make team workflows scalable across multiple accounts.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this internship, candidates should meet the following baseline educational and technical requirements:
- Educational Qualification: B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc / B.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, or related technical streams.
- Batch Eligibility: Recent graduates from 2023, 2024, or final-year students passing out in 2025 who are available for immediate full-time work.
- Experience Required: Freshers with strong project work or candidates with up to 1 year of hands-on technical experience.
- Work Setup: Willingness to work 5 days a week from Kapture CX's Bangalore office. Remote or hybrid options are not available for this role.
Required Technical Skills & Key Competencies
Recruiters at Kapture CX are looking for candidates who possess a strong technical mindset along with practical exposure to modern AI developer toolkits:
- Core Programming & APIs: Practical knowledge of Python, along with solid comfort in reading code, working with JSON structures, and consuming REST APIs.
- LLM & Prompt Engineering Exposure: Hands-on experience playing with OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or open-source models (Llama). Understanding system prompts, context limits, and tool-calling mechanics.
- Speech Technologies: Basic knowledge of how STT (Automatic Speech Recognition) and TTS (Text-to-Speech) modules function, and what parameters impact transcript quality and voice latency.
- Debugging Mindset: Ability to dive straight into log files, search for API error codes, trace failures, and fix broken conversation flows.
- Bonus Skills (Good to Have): Experience with telephony frameworks, Indian regional language NLP, agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, LlamaIndex), or automated QA for AI models.
Selection Process
The hiring workflow at Kapture CX usually involves the following evaluation rounds:
- Resume Shortlisting: Screening applications based on project work related to Python, REST APIs, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or chatbot development.
- Technical Assessment / Assignment: A practical task involving prompt engineering, API parsing, or diagnosing a chatbot configuration issue.
- Technical Interview Round: Discussion focusing on your Python fundamentals, project execution, basic voice stack knowledge (STT, LLM, TTS), and real-time problem-solving scenarios.
- HR / Cultural Fitment Round: Discussion on communication skills, willingness to work in-office in Bangalore, ownership attitude, and long-term goals.
How to Prepare for This AI Internship Interview
Here are a few actionable suggestions to stand out during the selection process:
- Build a Small Project: Create a basic voicebot using Python, OpenAI API / Whisper (STT), and ElevenLabs or gTTS (TTS). Feature this project prominently at the top of your resume.
- Brush Up on REST APIs & JSON: Be prepared to write simple Python code that makes HTTP POST calls, sends JSON payloads, and handles error codes.
- Understand Speech Tech Bottlenecks: Read up on real-time latency challenges in voice AI, such as audio sampling rates, STT word error rates (WER), streaming TTS, and token limits.
