Detailed Role Summary & Responsibilities

In this position, you will join Birlasoft's specialized Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) consulting team. OTM is a globally accepted enterprise technology platform used by large manufacturing, retail, and logistics companies to control and streamline how goods move across supply chains.

As a Techno-Functional Consultant, your primary job is to bridge the gap between technical code and business requirements. You will work closely with senior mentors and global clients to ensure that supply chain processes run smoothly.

• Understanding Client Processes: Learn how supply chain and logistics operations function in large enterprises and translate those needs into Oracle Transportation Management setups.
• System Configuration & Testing: Help set up OTM modules, write and test business rules, execute validation tests, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Technical Documentation: Prepare clean functional specification documents, technical workflow sheets, and user manuals for client teams.
• Production Support & Issue Resolution: Help investigate daily system issues, support tickets, and work requests to ensure software runs without glitches.
• Using Modern AI Tools: Actively integrate Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and Claude into daily tasks such as writing documentation, debugging integration code, and creating automated test cases.
• Integration Assistance: Work on backend data formats like XML, JSON, and APIs to ensure seamless communication between OTM and other ERP systems.

Eligibility Criteria
