Detailed Job Role & Day-to-Day Responsibilities

In this position, you will work as an Egocentric Data Collection Operator in field operations across Delhi NCR. Egocentric data refers to video captured from a first-person perspective (what human eyes see directly in real-time). You will wear advanced Virtual Reality headsets (Meta Quest 3) to record real-world interactions across different commercial environments such as retail shops, warehouses, hotels, workshops, and lab setups.

The videos you collect are used to train complex AI algorithms so that future systems, robots, and spatial computers can recognize physical items, understand gestures, and perform automated tasks safely.

• Execute Real-World Structured Tasks: Perform structured, multi-step physical activities while wearing the Meta Quest 3 headset to capture sharp, unobstructed first-person video data.
• Capture Hand-Object Interactions: Perform diverse daily actions naturally, including sorting, picking, placing, reaching, bending, turning, carrying, scanning, organizing, loading, and handling carts or trolleys.
• Field Operations in Diverse Environments: Travel and record in varied operational setups such as supermarket shelves, hotel suites, fulfillment packing stations, assembly areas, and research rooms.
• Maintain Data Quality: Ensure clean camera angles without blocking sensors, adjust for optimal lighting, and adhere strictly to quality control checklists.
• Adhere to Shift Schedules: Work in rotational shifts (5 working days with 2 days off) and maintain discipline regarding data upload, hardware maintenance, and daily activity logs.

Eligibility Criteria & Candidate Requirements

• Comfort with VR Headsets: Ability to wear and operate a VR headset (such as Meta Quest 3 or Oculus) for extended shifts without motion sickness or discomfort.

• Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of smart devices, camera exposure, lighting conditions, and smartphone applications.
