Detailed Internship Role Summary
Unlike traditional design internships where students only shadow senior researchers, Sprinklr offers a practical, high-impact 6-month research internship. As a UX Research Intern, you will own an end-to-end multi-phase research study from initial research design to executing user interviews, gathering quantitative metrics, analyzing insights, and presenting a capstone project directly to global product leadership.
You will be paired with a dedicated mentor and senior UX researchers, interacting directly with product managers, UX designers, and software engineers based out of both India and the United States. This will expose you to enterprise SaaS product development frameworks and B2B workflow solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Tasks
- Study Planning & Execution: Assist senior UX researchers in preparing, organizing, and executing evaluative and generative research methodologies, including semi-structured user interviews, surveys, and remote usability testing.
- Data Analysis & Synthesis: Extract patterns from user feedback and behavioral data to craft actionable user personas, task analyses, and user journey maps.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and developers to evaluate technical requirements and integrate authentic user needs straight into product roadmaps.
- Research Operations: Support recruitment processes for research participants, structure logistics, and keep the internal research repository organized for future product reference.
- Visual Reporting & Presentations: Convert raw research data into structured deck presentations, highlighting human-centric design recommendations to key executive stakeholders.
- Usability Benchmarking: Conduct regular product usability audits, review competitor software user workflows, and pinpoint usability bottlenecks in complex enterprise systems.

- Methodological Knowledge: Good academic or project-based command over UX research methodologies like heuristic evaluation, card sorting, context mapping, and user interviews.
- Enterprise Product Curiosity: Strong preference for solving complex, high-density B2B workflow challenges rather than standard B2C design problems.
