Detailed Role Responsibilities
As the first technical builder, your day-to-day work will go far beyond basic coding. You will actively shape how the system works, architects data, and interacts with users. Here are the core responsibilities expected in this role:
- 0 to 1 Product Development: Design, build, and deploy core software modules and features from scratch for Robin (WorkBudi AI agent).
- Full Stack Engineering: Create responsive and clean frontend user interfaces in React and TypeScript while managing backend routes, APIs, and database structures.
- AI Integration: Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) like Claude, OpenAI, and custom AI tools into daily workflows and product automated agent loops.
- Backend and Security: Set up Supabase databases, authentication systems, secure API endpoints, and ensure data protection standards are met.
- Leverage Modern AI Coding Tools: Use AI developer assistants such as Lovable, Cursor, and Claude to speed up code production, test features, and fix bugs quickly.
- Direct Founder Collaboration: Brainstorm product direction, refine user experience, and rapidly pivot based on user feedback.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
WorkBudi values practical builder skills over traditional degrees or brand-name credentials. However, candidates should satisfy the following criteria:
- Educational Background: Open to candidates holding B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc in Computer Science/IT, MCA, or any relevant technical stream. Self-taught developers with strong project portfolios are also warmly welcome.
- Batch / Graduation Year: Open to recent freshers (2023, 2024, 2025 batches) or developers with up to 2 years of experience.
- Portfolio Requirement: You must have built and deployed live side projects, web applications, or tools. Having active GitHub repositories or a working live demo is highly desirable.
